The WITRON On Site Service has profound experience and competence in service, maintenance, and operation of logistics systems. We offer the possibility to fully or partially take over the technical and operational responsibility for the logistics system of our customers on site. Our On Site service teams guarantee long-term availability and productivity for the fully automated warehouse logistics.

The following locations in the USA belong to the WITRON Group:

Ennis (TX)

A pharmacy company, headquartered in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, which is currently considered the second-largest drugstore chain in the USA, has been operating a logistics center with over 37,000 square meters / 398,265 square feet in Ennis, a city in the state of Texas with over 20,000 inhabitants, since 2004. The highly dynamic system that uses WITRON's automated tote and pallet picking modules to pick up to one million units per day, is currently supplying 176 stores with an assortment of more than 30,000 different articles.

Based on the long-standing experience and competence in maintaining and operating logistics systems, WITRON has been responsible for the service of these plants in the long-term. This will be ensured through a competent team of WITRON employees, who take over the technical or operational responsibility of the logistics system. Our electrical engineers (m/f) and mechanics (m/f) are working in the areas of system support, maintenance & repairs, optimization, and spare parts management.

West Jefferson (OH)

In West-Jefferson, Ohio (USA), WITRON designed and implemented a state-of-the-art logistics center for the second-largest department store chain in the United States. This logistics center is able to supply up to 450 stores of the discounter with goods. Since February 2014, the facility with a size of over 24,000 square meters 258,000 square feet picks fresh and frozen goods in an efficient manner - with more than 130,000 picks on a daily basis. A WITRON On Site team ensures a smooth operation of the processes. Our electrical engineers (m/f) and mechanics (m/f) are working in the areas of system support, maintenance & repairs, optimization, and spare parts management.

Rialto (CA)

The second-largest department store in the United States supplies and picks goods for almost 300 stores in a fully automated sysetm, from its new logistics center in Rialto, California. This operation works with WITRON's modules OPM and CPS - in the fresh food (+2 degrees C, 83,000 daily picks) and frozen goods area (-26 degrees C, 38,000 daily picks). The distribution center has a size of about 25,000 square meters / 270,000 square feet and started its production in March 2014.

Based on WITRON's long-standing experience and competence with the maintenance and operation of logistics systems, it will be responsible for On Site service of these systems in the long-term. This will be ensured through a competent team of WITRON employees, who take over the technical or operational responsibility of the logistics system. Our electrical engineers (m/f) and mechanics (m/f) are working in the areas of system support, maintenance & repairs, optimization, and spare parts management.

Denton (TX)

Since January 2013, the second-largest department-store chain in the United States supplies more than 280 stores with different products from the fresh food (+2 degrees C) and frozen goods area (-26 degrees C) from its logistics center in Denton, Texas. The facility operates WITRON's order picking systems OPM and CPS. These modules have a peak day picking output of up to 100,000 cases.

WITRON Logistik + Informatik took over overall functional responsibility for the design and realization of the system and resumes full responsibility by providing an On Site team also for the service and maintenance of the state-of-the-art logistics center in the long-term. Our electrical engineers (m/f) and mechanics (m/f) are working in the areas of system support, maintenance & repairs, optimization, and spare parts management.

Tolleson (AZ)

The Kroger Co. is the largest food retail supermarket chain and the third largest retailer in the USA. The project in Tolleson, a small city in Maricopa county in the state of Arizona with some 5,000 inhabitants, was the beginning of a unique WITRON success story. In 2003, WITRON Logistik + Informatik GmbH was awarded the order to realize the new logistics center - for the first time with the still revolutionary OPM technology.

The logistics center in Tolleson supplies 188 stores of the American supermarket giant. 23,000 pallet locations, 200,000 tray locations, 16 COM machines, 150,000 picks on a daily basis.

This will be ensured through a competent team of WITRON employees, who take over the technical or operational responsibility of the logistics system. Aurora (CO)

For the largest food retail supermarket chain and the third largest retailer in the USA, 232 stores are supplied from the state-of-the-art logistics center in Aurora, Colorado. Since 2006, the logistics center in Aurora has been picking 12,000 items from the dry goods assortment with WITRON's OPM system (16 COM machines) with 150,000 picks on a daily basis. The warehouse spans 23,000 pallet locations and 200,000 tray locations.

Based on WITRON's long-standing experience and competence with the maintenance and operation of logistics systems, it will be responsible for On Site service of these systems in the long-term. This will be ensured through a competent team of WITRON employees, who take over the technical or operational responsibility of the logistics system. Our specialists (m/f) in the area of electrical engineering and mechanics are responsible for the system support, maintenance & repair, optimization, and spare parts management.

Vero Beach (FL)

A pharmacy company, headquartered in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, which is currently considered the second-largest drugstore chain in the USA, has been operating a logistics center with over 37,000 square meters / 398,265 square feet in Vero Beach, a city in the state of Florida with 15,000 inhabitants, since 2006. The highly dynamic system is able to pick up to one million units using WITRON's automated tote and pallet picking modules. So far, the logistics center supplies 150 stores with an assortment of over 30,000 different articles.

Based on WITRON's long-standing experience and competence with the maintenance and operation of logistics systems, it will be responsible for On Site service of these systems in the long-term. This will be ensured through a competent team of WITRON employees, who take over the technical or operational responsibility of the logistics system.
